Job Description

At Daxko, we’re looking for a Product Owner who can bridge the gap between customer needs and our development team—translating requirements into actionable user stories that drive the success of our products. As a key member of the Product Management team, you’ll work closely with Software and Quality Engineers in an agile environment, ensuring that every feature we build aligns with business objectives and delivers real value to our users.

The ideal candidate thrives in a highly collaborative environment, working cross-functionally to break down complex problems and guide development teams toward effective solutions. You’ll be the voice of the customer, prioritizing work, refining the product backlog, and ensuring our teams stay focused on delivering meaningful improvements. This role is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality software solutions to a diverse customer base.

What You’ll Do:

  • Embed yourself within the agile development team to drive product delivery and act as the voice of the customer.
  • Partner with Product Managers to shape the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Collaborate on backlog refinement, working with Product Managers to define, review, and optimize epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria to maximize value.
  • Evaluate and prioritize feature requests, working with Product Managers to align enhancements with business goals and maintain the product roadmap.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, balancing competing priorities to ensure the highest-impact work is completed.
  • Lead release and sprint planning, setting clear goals and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and roadblocks, proactively resolving issues that could impact sprint and release success.
  • Validate completed work against acceptance criteria, conducting sprint reviews to ensure alignment with customer and business needs.
  • Create and refine product documentation, collaborating with Product Managers and Marketing to support product development, launch, support, and sales initiatives.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing key features and benefits.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, supporting sales and customer service teams with product insights and expertise.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team:

  • A strong mix of business acumen and technical understanding—you can see both the big picture and the finer details.
  • A natural ability to inspire teams, communicate ideas effectively, and drive results.
  • Experience in agile development (Scrum, Kanban, Lean Agile).
  • The ability to prioritize and balance competing needs, ensuring the most valuable work gets done first.
  • Passion for creating innovative, customer-focused products that make a difference.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar agile role
  • Experience working with agile development teams and backlog management
  • Ability to prioritize competing needs and make data-driven decisions

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Agile, Scrum Product Owner, or Pragmatic Marketing certifications
  • Experience leading multiple scrum teams
  • Experience working with UX and engineering teams to refine features
  • Background in SaaS, software development, or technology-driven organizations

Additional Information

The salary range for this role is $84,700 - $133,300 per year. Where you fall within the pay range is based on how you demonstrate the attributes and competencies required for the role.   We mostly reserve the upper half of our compensation bands for internal growth. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, performance-based incentives, and opportunities for growth.
