Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join a dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in both international and domestic logistics operations, with expertise in 3PL management, data analysis, and order fulfillment optimization. This role focuses on continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and strategic projects. As a Logistics Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across various channels, while collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

KPI & Metrics Management:

Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations.
Regularly update on areas such as on-time delivery, cost efficiency, order accuracy, and inventory levels.
Use data insights to drive improvements and operational efficiency.
Data Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in the logistics process.
Provide actionable insights and reports that guide decision-making for management and cross-functional teams.
Shipment Planning & Optimization:

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize shipment planning.
Ensure the timely, cost-effective, and reliable transportation of goods.
Continuously refine planning processes to improve capacity utilization and reduce transportation costs.
Order Fulfillment:

Oversee the order fulfillment process, ensuring orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time.
Identify bottlenecks in the fulfillment cycle and recommend actionable solutions to improve efficiency.
Invoice Validation & Reconciliation:

Validate and reconcile shipping invoices to ensure accuracy and consistency with contracts, rates, and agreements.
Work closely with finance and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with the Customer Success team and third-party logistics providers to address issues related to order status, delivery delays, and logistics inquiries.
Work with the Warehousing team to improve inventory management and ensure efficient order fulfillment.
International & Domestic Shipments:

Stay knowledgeable in both U.S. domestic and international logistics, including regulations, customs compliance, and documentation requirements for international shipments.
Partner with vendors and shipping partners to ensure smooth cross-border movement of goods.
Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement within logistics and order fulfillment using technology and data analysis.
Initiate and manage projects that implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
TMS/ERP Systems:

Ensure system data is accurate and up-to-date to facilitate smooth operations.
Additional Tasks:

Take on additional tasks and assignments as directed by the management team.
Required Skills & Experience

Knowledge & Application:

Proficiency in shipping software and systems such as FX Ship Manager, TMS, WMS, and ERP (e.g., NetSuite or similar).
Familiarity with both domestic and international logistics operations, including transportation and compliance.
Experience with various modes of transport (LTL, FTL, Parcel, Air, and Ocean).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar programs.
Problem Solving & Complexity:

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze performance metrics and trends to implement improvement strategies.
Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled in drafting and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
Collaboration & Interaction:

Proven experience collaborating with internal teams on operations and process improvements.
Ability to work effectively with external vendors on daily operations and efficiency.
Work Environment:

Primarily office-based with computer work.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
This position is 100% onsite in Franklin Park, IL.
Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in both international and domestic logistics, and order fulfillment roles.
