They have a good staff, however there is room for improvement with better leadership and oversight. We are looking for a GM who will improve their managers. Including: GSM, NC Manager, UC Manager, F&I, BDC Manager and service.

We are seeking a candidate whose strength is on the front end of the business. We need a General Manager who understands the difference between leading a team from "managing a store." The ability to build and lead your team, develop your managers, improve sales volume, gross profit, and manage customer experience are key drivers for this position.

Our dealership is profitable, but there exists room for improvement. The General Manager will assess all departments of the dealership, the staff, and all policies and procedures, evaluate and look for ways to improve. Growth is part of the job description, but bringing in a culture of great customer service and accountability is essential to the success of our General Manager.

This ideal candidate will also possess the following skills/experiences/abilities:

• Integrity is our highest value (We hope that yours is too)
• Successful automotive General Manager experience with a proven record. We are open to a dynamic GSM ready to move up
• Excellent work ethic
• Proven high performer (we will ask for examples of where you "raised the bar")
• Prior experience as a Used Car Manager, Desk Manager, and F&I are helpful to excel in our Subaru store
• Ability to build and lead your team
• Collaborator with the ability to coordinate efforts with sales staff, service and office
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Financial statement savvy
• Must be up to date with the online auto buyer and the social media users
• Ability to work in or relo to Bennington, VT
