AS A TRAVELING RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER

You will set the tone for the internal and external guest experiences, during each and every shift; and you know that the team’s energy directly impacts everyone who walks through the front door.  

This job will require the ability to travel approximately 80-85% of the time, helping to work at locations that will need coverage while a GM is off for a few days up to the need to help cover the gap in hiring a new GM which can take several weeks.

It is expected that you will have very strong leadership skills and naturally walk into a restaurant to comfortably earn the trust of the staff, be approachable, kind and assess the immediate needs from staffing needs, service levels, administration needs, etc.

YOU'LL HAVE...

  • 5+ years of successfully running a high-volume and upscale food focused restaurant
  • Proven experience delivering top-notch dining experiences
  • Compassion for people and embrace IRHG core values
  • Strong problem resolution skills and ability to proactively set the team up for success
  • Have exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to navigate important conversation

Requirements

 WHAT TO EXPECT. ON THE FLOOR & IN THE OPERATION…

Your schedule may vary (days, nights, weekends, holiday’s) based on seasonality, covers, and hours of operation but in general you can expect to work 40 to 50 hours a week.
