Job Title: Task Project Manager
Location: Farley Nuclear Plant, Columbia, AL.
Duration: 5-month Contract/assignment
Per diem offered!

Overview:

Our client, Southern Company, is seeking a Task Project Manager to oversee specific projects and tasks at the Farley Nuclear Plant. This role requires a blend of in-field oversight and administrative coordination , ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee assigned project tasks, ensuring alignment with project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Apply human performance tools to support safe, error-free task execution.
• Serve as the primary interface with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Provide in-field oversight of projects such as heat exchanger sleeving or similar work.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for progress, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Support administrative tasks and transition activities from service POs to direct task management oversight.

Qualifications:

• Required: Previous experience as a Task Manager in the nuclear power industry.
• Preferred: Prior experience at a Southern Company nuclear site.
• Experience overseeing heat exchanger sleeving or similar nuclear projects is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of nuclear safety standards, NRC regulations, and human performance tools .
• Bachelor’s degree optional.
