Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to gather business requirements from clients and turn them into actionable projects.
• Design and create interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, and Power BI Report Builder.
• Connect and integrate data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and cloud services.
• Clean, and transform data to ensure it is suitable for reporting and analysis.
• Design complex data models to show the hidden relationships in disparate data sources.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Optimize Power BI reports and queries for performance and responsiveness.
• Implement security measures such as Row Level Security to ensure data confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, report specifications, and best practices.
• Provide training and support to end-users to enable them to effectively use Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Lead and train junior developers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required; Business and mathematics degrees will be considered with the appropriate experience.
• 5+ years of progressing experience in data analysis roles
• Fluent in SQL, DAX, and M
• Expert in data modeling and transformation
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong business acumen
