Salary: $2829 / Week The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of theSpecial Education Program Administrator provides quality services to specialeducation students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has a commitmentto team participation in planning and implementation of student programsincluding special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation withgeneral education staff. Position: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Location: Lompoc, CA (Santa Barbara County) Employer: Backstage Health (Contracted with local school district) Type: Full-Time, In-Person | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week Start Date: August 2025 Key Responsibilities: + Serve as a core member of the IEP Planning Team + Assess and support early learners with special needs + Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) + Deliver specialized instruction aligned with state and federal standards + Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and support staff + Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting requirements Qualifications: + Valid California Education Specialist Credential in Early Childhood Special Education (or equivalent) + Experience working with preschool-aged children with disabilities + Strong communication and collaboration skills + Passion for early intervention and inclusive education Perks: + Flexible contract structure + No nights or weekends + Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in early childhood development Pay rate shown is for candidates 50+ miles from site.
