Mansfield Sports Park, located in Mansfield, Texas, is a premier destination for athletes, families, and sports enthusiasts. Mansfield the park boasts eight baseball and softball fields, all featuring full synthetic turf to provide a superior playing experience regardless of weather conditions. Complementing the outdoor fields, the park includes an indoor turf field ideal for year-round training, games, and events, as well as a batting cage area designed for players to hone their skills. Adding to its appeal, Mansfield Sports Park features two state-of-the-art restaurants that offer a perfect blend of dining and social spaces for spectators and participants to enjoy. With its combination of world-class facilities, modern amenities, and a vibrant atmosphere, Mansfield Sports Park is not just a venue but a hub for community engagement, making it a premier destination for tournaments, leagues, and special events in the region. The projected completion date for the complex is Summer 2025.

 

Position Summary

This position is responsible for developing and executing creative content strategies that enhance the digital presence and brand identity of Mansfield Sports Park. The role combines hands-on graphic design with social media management to drive community engagement, support programming and events, and promote a positive image of the facility. Responsibilities include content creation, brand management, digital storytelling, community interaction, and collaborating with internal departments to support marketing goals. The position will play a vital role in maintaining alignment with KemperSports’ brand standards while customizing content for the local market.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that supports marketing objectives and brand voice across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create and publish engaging digital content, including graphics, videos, reels, and stories to support programming, events, and partnerships.
  • Design and produce a wide range of marketing collateral including flyers, signage, digital ads, email graphics, merchandise mockups, and event branding.
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and ensure all visual content aligns with KemperSports and City of Mansfield standards.
  • Monitor and manage social media accounts, respond to messages and comments, and foster a vibrant online community.
  • Track performance metrics across digital channels; analyze results and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with operations, sponsorship, programming, and events teams to deliver high-quality creative assets on deadline.
  • Assist in the promotion and branding of major events, facility programs, and partnerships.
  • Manage photo and video libraries for marketing use and ongoing content development.
  • Stay up to date on design trends, social media platform updates, and emerging technologies.
  • Perform other duties as appropriate.

 

Education/Qualifications/Certifications

  • BA or BS degree preferred.
  • 2 years relevant professional experience in social media and graphic design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and Canva preferred.
  • Strong story telling ability with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with youth sports, community recreation, or event-based marketing business
  • Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
  • Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
