Purpose Statement

The Sales Operations Analyst will organize and leverage available data and manage/work to make various systems available to all sales associates and the achievement of their respective objectives. The analyst will also handle all sales support functions such as brokerage payments, SAP table maintenance, and pricing updates.

This is a hybrid opportunity and will require in office collaboration at our world headquarters in Buffalo NY

Key Accountabilities And Outcomes

  • Administration of brokerage which involves processing payments & making adjustments (as needed)
  • Execute sales history transfers and maintain a reliable running record for the same
  • Maintain brokerage rate structure in SAP for ALL USC divisions
  • Manage divisional split allocations
  • Responsible for maintaining customer relationship hierarchies (i.e., UNIPRO membership, Buying group structures, etc.) in the applicable systems
  • Responsible for special sales transfer for re-distribution volume (Foodservice Division)
  • Owns the sales operations component of the month end close process, pre-work done on time every month and sales ops jobs loaded in the correct sequence with no deviation from the process
  • Available (sometimes after regular work hours) to collaborate with IS during the first two days of month-end close week
  • Responsible to update brokerage base rate table both when there is a global price increase activity and in between such price increase activities and for any new products introduced
  • Process broker check requests for sale promotion incentives & related activities
  • Respond promptly to ad-hoc broker inquiries related to sales transfers, commission payments, adjustments, price and/or volume discrepancies
  • Internal HQ Sales Support – escalation of issues to the appropriate WHQ team, i.e., acts as a general liaison to WHQ teams and departments
  • Assist Sales Operations Manager in the following:
  • Price increase on published products (Organize, Consult, coach, check & communicate)
  • Product Recall/Withdrawal (Collaborate, Communicate, Execute and Follow-up)
  • Communication to Foodservice Division corporate distributors on a variety of matters to include pricing, supply chain, new product roll-out, product pauses and discontinuations
  • Organization and Maintenance of relevant contact lists
  • Approve and code web cycle transactions
  • Coordinate ongoing administrative asks from strategic customers
  • Support divisional IBP efforts as necessary (deck preparation, summarized risks & opportunities, etc)
  • Ongoing and regular price expectation monitoring with Sysco, GFS, Dot & McLane
  • Blacksmith Trade Management System - Pricing and trade program support , Acquisitions support (as needed)
  • Ad-hoc sales reporting, investigation, and analysis
  • Ability to work closely and collaboratively with the other Sales Ops analyst on this team - to provide full back up of the position whenever necessary


Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred (e.g.; business management, finance, supply chain or related field) with 2+ of business experience preferably partnering with sales
  • Strong organizational skills are required
  • A proven track record of working in an environment where a high degree of collaboration is required
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines is required
  • Demonstrated success in creative problem solving and team partnership is required
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to use tools to determine root causes and identify solutions
  • Strong PC proficiency to include comprehensive Microsoft Office software competency including Word, Excel; Moderate level Excel user (experience in SAP related to invoicing components, orders, sales history systems and Blacksmith trade system a plus) #CORP123


Compensation

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$54,230.00 - $73,370.00
