Job Description

In this role, the PR Coordinator will support our company's media relations efforts and broader communications initiatives while working closely with internal stakeholders across the organization. This role requires strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and project management knowledge with an ability to manage multiple tasks within a deadline-driven environment.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and monitor incoming press inquiries, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
• Develop comprehensive briefing materials to prepare spokespeople for media interactions and speaking engagements.
• Create and maintain detailed documents for media events, interviews, and team meetings.
• Build and update targeted media lists to support pitching and new initiatives
• Execute daily media monitoring and compile reports to track coverage and industry trends, providing insights to inform media strategy.
• Produce and distribute engaging weekly media recaps to keep stakeholders informed of relevant coverage and industry developments.
• Assist with content creation and strategic communications initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on communications objectives and deliverables.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of communications experience in either an in-house or agency setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and systematic approach to task management
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with different teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in consumer technology sector
• Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools
• Demonstrated experience working effectively across departments and with various stakeholders

Compensation

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary will range from $115,000 to $125,000. A sign-on bonus may be part of a compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
