As the Product Owner for Angkas’ Trip Management & Pricing domain, you will shape our operations by leading the strategy, design, and execution of features that improve platform efficiency and scalability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll optimize tools that facilitate millions of transactions for seamless trip management, matchmaking, and pricing.

Key Responsibilities

Define Vision & Strategy

  • Set the vision and strategy for trip handling, matchmaking, and pricing features, ensuring alignment with Angkas’ business objectives and mission.
  • Build, iterate, and scale a robust product suite to support Angkas’ core trip-related functionalities.

Product Development & Ownership

  • Oversee a high-traffic backend platform that processes millions of transactions daily.
  • Manage a portfolio of more than 10 key features, incorporating complex business logic, advanced calculations, and seamless system integrations.
  • Drive the creation of innovative product features and reusable “Lego blocks” that enhance platform capabilities, working closely with the Trip Management & Pricing squad.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, and business teams to identify trade-offs, define solutions, and deliver impactful features.
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met while balancing technical feasibility and business priorities.

Performance Monitoring & Iteration

  • Define and track KPIs to measure product success, drive continuous improvement, and refine features based on data insights.

  • Implement A/B testing, product analytics, and hypothesis-driven experiments to validate assumptions and optimize outcomes.

Requirements

  • Educational Background

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Professional Experience

    • 6+ years of product management experience in technology-driven organizations, preferably in transportation, mobility, or similar sectors.
    • Proven success in launching products/features from concept to delivery in startup or high-growth environments.
    • Experienced in complex software delivery with a strong grasp of engineering architecture. Works closely with developers and QA teams to ensure projects get done, while pushing teams to perform at their best.
  • Technical Expertise

    • Familiarity with APIs, microservices architecture, and backend systems.
    • Knowledge of geolocation technologies, routing algorithms, and handling high-traffic platforms is a strong advantage.
    • Hands-on experience with product analytics tools, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making.

    • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning cross-functional teams.
