Job Description: Power BI developer /DBT Core Developer

Location : Nashville, USA (Local candidates within the USA only)

Work Type : Remote

Key Responsibilities:

As an AtScale/DBT Core Developer , your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain semantic layers using AtScale and DBT to support business intelligence and data analytics initiatives. This role is critical for the optimization of data usage within the business and ensuring a seamless data flow across multiple platforms.

You will be working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to:

• Design and implement semantic layers using AtScale and DBT , supporting data consistency and governance across the platform.
• Develop and organize business logic to standardize metrics and KPIs, ensuring they align with business requirements.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance data governance and improve collaboration around data consumption for business users.
• Continuously improve ETL processes and support the integration of data from diverse sources to create a unified and consistent semantic layer.
• Ensure cross-platform consistency and scalability of metrics and KPIs across multiple systems and platforms.

Must-Have Skills:

• P4 - Data Building Tool (DBT)
• P4 - Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies
• P4 - SQL Data Analysis
• P3 - AtScale (Platform)

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in each of the following:
  • DBT Core or Data Build Tool (DBT)
  • Data Modeling Techniques & Methodologies
  • SQL Data Analysis
  • AtScale (Platform)

Education:

• A Professional Degree is required for this position.

Industry Experience:

• Preferred experience in the relevant industry. Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence processes is highly valued.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in DBT Core , and a strong understanding of semantic layers, data pipelines, and the integration of diverse data sources.
• Expertise in data modeling , ETL processes , and business intelligence tools like AtScale to build and maintain robust data structures.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to organize, document, and ensure consistency in business logic across data platforms.
