Position Title: Parking Enforcement Associate

Location: El Paso, TX (Onsite)

Reports To: Site Security Coordinator

Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time (1 st Shift)

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Hourly: $18.00

Job Summary

The Parking Enforcement Associate is responsible for ensuring compliance with parking regulations and policies. This role involves patrolling parking areas, issuing citations or warnings for violations, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence. Associate may also assist in monitoring site activity, deterring criminal behavior, and supporting overall site security and safety as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol parking lots, garages, and other designated areas to monitor vehicle compliance.
  • Issue citations, warnings, or tow notices for parking violations such as unauthorized parking, expired permits, or time-limit violations.
  • Maintain accurate records of citations issued and incidents encountered.
  • Provide directions, general information, and assistance to visitors and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Respond to parking-related disputes and escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor or local authorities when necessary.
  • Operate handheld or mobile devices to document enforcement actions and vehicle information.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior or safety concerns and report incidents per company protocol.
  • Collaborate with site management, property owners, and local law enforcement when appropriate.
  • Follow all company policies, site-specific procedures, and legal requirements related to parking enforcement and security.
  • May assist in traMic control and event parking management, as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Prior security, parking enforcement, or law enforcement experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if vehicle use is required).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong observational and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or confrontational situations.
  • Must be able to walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
