The Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) is the state’s lead division serving people with disabilities committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and racial justice. The mission of the Division is to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals of employment, education, and independent living. This position provides day to day support for the Residential Manager at the Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education – Wood Street (ICRE-W) facility preparing a variety of correspondence, reports and other information in accessible formats pertaining to services, schedules, and customer records. This position is the receptionist for the facility and interprets and translates functions, information, procedures into Spanish for limited English-speaking individuals and in contacts with the public, advocacy groups, customers and the community. The Division is seeking to hire an organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills for this position.
Requires ability to pass a drug screen for drugs prohibited from recreational use under Illinois Law.
