Position: Healthcare Translator Japanese to US English
Location: Remote
Type: Freelance/Contract

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced healthcare translators for a long-term project that involves translating critical medical documents from Japanese into US English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate and edit healthcare documents, including:
  • Physician notes and consultation results
  • Hospitalization and operative summaries
  • Emergency treatment reports
  • Laboratory and radiology results
• Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and HIPAA-compliant.
• Collaborate with editors and project managers to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• • 5+ years of Japanese-to-English healthcare translation experience
  • Proficiency in memoQ
  • Native or near-native fluency in Japanese and English
  • Cannot accept California-based freelancers

Compensation & Payment Terms:
