Our wellness facility is looking for a seasoned massage therapist to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is personable, committed to cultivating an excellent rapport with every client, and has experience with varied physical conditions treatable with massage therapy. Responsibilities: • Cultivate a welcoming work environment by making positive relationships with clients and staff • Recommend additional products or services that may benefit the client • Treat clients safely and effectively using the appropriate therapeutic massage techniques that meet their needs • Evaluate each client’s physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment • Maintain treatment records, monitor client progress, and follow up on their treatment plans Qualifications: • Must be excellent at communication and interpersonal relationships • Must have licensure that complies with state and local laws • +1 years of massage therapy experience • Completion of a massage therapy program preferred • Adequate knowledge of a variety of massage techniques such as reflexology, sports massage, Swedish massage, and deep-tissue massage • Certification: Must be a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario with current licensure. • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Myofascial, Fascia, or Connective Tissue approaches, with a knack for integrating innovative manual therapies. • Education & Experience: Completion of a recognized massage therapy program is preferred, along with at least 1 year of hands-on experience. Experience in a multidisciplinary care setting is a plus. • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential—after all, effective healing happens when professionals connect with their clients on a genuine level.
