Job Description
As a Financial Management Instructor, you'll play a key role in supporting clients to improve their financial operations and systems. You'll help enhance execution of programs aimed at optimizing financial performance while contributing to the development of a variety of impactful materials. Here's what you can expect in this role:
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate regularly with government clients to discuss workload, contract performance, and address emerging issues.
Oversee quality control initiatives to ensure the program's success.
Prepare and present reports, briefs, and training materials, aligning with program requirements.
Supervise and guide contractor staff to ensure services and products meet budget and timeline expectations, in accordance with SOW guidelines.
Contribute to various project components, including personnel management, reports, and deliverables.
Develop and implement both tactical and strategic work plans to ensure high-quality performance.
Help define and enforce work standards that promote excellence and efficiency.
Work closely with clients to coordinate work schedules and deadlines.
Identify, address, and resolve any work discrepancies to maintain smooth project execution.
Provide leadership and clear communication to contractor teams, aligning them with organizational goals.
Lead training efforts for incoming contractors, ensuring a smooth transition.
What You Will Need:
The ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD security clearance.
A Bachelor's Degree.
10+ years of experience in a Working Capital Fund environment, including expertise in Depot Maintenance, Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, or Financial Management.
5+ years of leadership experience in a similar environment.
3+ years of experience in academic instruction.
What Would Be Nice to Have:
An ACTIVE Federal or DoD security clearance.
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
