**Job Title: CNC Programmer** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer responsible for the programming, setup, and operation of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines. This role involves completing a variety of one-off and custom projects, machining metal, plastic, and some composites. **Responsibilities** + Program CNC machines from scratch using CAD/CAM software (primarily WorkNC and HyperMILL). + Program controls to produce high-precision components, primarily using Heidenhain but also Fanuc and Fidia. + Create part models and generate toolpaths for CNC machining. + Set up machines, including tooling and fixturing, based on project requirements. + Ensure quality and accuracy of machined parts through inspection and adjustments as needed, including first-run parts and sample workpieces. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience with CNC 3 & 5 axis programming, setup, and operating machines independently. + Strong proficiency with Heidenhain controls; experience with Fanuc and/or Fidia is a plus. + Experience programming from scratch using WorkNC and/or HyperMILL CAD/CAM software. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Haas machines is a nice-to-have. + Aerospace manufacturing experience is desirable. **Why Work Here?** Join a team working on high-impact projects for major names in aerospace, defense, and automotive industries, including Boeing and SpaceX. The facility is well-lit and clean. The shift hours are from 6 pm to 6 am, with a 10% shift premium. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Macomb, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
