POSITION – CNC Operator

JOB LOCATION – Grafton, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 2:00pm to 12:00am

STARTING PAY – $18 to $19 per hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Prior CNC experience preferred

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for performing daily CNC machine operations including saws, drills, sanders, and mills. You’ll set up and program machines, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain a safe, clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily CNC machine operation including saws, drill, sander, and mill
• Set up CNC and support equipment
• Program CNC machines when needed
• Perform quality inspections using properly calibrated measuring devices and complete quality records
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Troubleshoot machines and take corrective action to prevent non-conformance
• Follow established setup sheets and create or revise them as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work area
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and completely
• Complete Kapco’s forklift certification program
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous CNC experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret setup sheets
• Experience using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable with good communication and teamwork skills
