PLEX  is seeking a Cloud Secruity Engineer  to support cutting edge work in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. PLEX is a proud EOE Employer, including disability/vets. Locations may include: Hanover, MD, Annapolis Junction, MD, and Columbia, MD.

Required Skills

• Apply DevSecOps principles within AWS to deploy infrastructure as code and application functionality, including blue/green deployments.
• Support and manage CI/CD pipelines for business applications deployed within AWS, leveraging tools such as GitHub Enterprise Appliance, CloudBees Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Invicti.
• Utilize and manage serverless architectures within AWS, orchestrating through CloudBees Jenkins.
• Demonstrate expertise in AWS Compute (EC2), AWS Network (VPCs and Load Balancers), and AWS Serverless (API Gateway and Lambda) services.
• Administer Linux systems effectively.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts using languages such as Bash, and program in Python. Understand CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Experience in developing AI/ML models, including neural networks and tree-based algorithms.
• Deploy and manage Docker and Kubernetes containers.
• Utilize monitoring, alerting, and logging tools to ensure system health and performance.
• Use Ansible for configuration management, and tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash for monitoring and logging.
• Apply X.509 and PKI security solutions, and manage LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol).
• Maintain AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification. AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Professional Certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline management using GitHub Enterprise, CloudBees Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Invicti.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and serverless architectures.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Advanced shell scripting in Bash and programming in Python.
• Experience in developing AI/ML models.
• Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux/Unix systems.
• Competency in monitoring, alerting, and logging using relevant tools.
• Experience with Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash.
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with X.509, PKI security solutions, and LDAP.
• TS/SCI with polygraph

Salary at Plex Solutions LLC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 to $240,000.00 (annualized USD) .
