Job Title: Business Analyst (cloud platform and Legacy sys exp)
Location: Albany, NY(Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualification:
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation, business analysis, and validation by translating business needs, constraints, and system interfaces into actionable technical objectives. Skilled in creating comprehensive documentation, including textual narratives, visual models, and graphical illustrations across all project phases-design, requirements, testing, and implementation.
- Strong background in applying diverse business analysis techniques within Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid SDLC frameworks. Expertise in deriving and documenting user stories, creating use cases, conducting fit-gap analyses, designing process flows, wireframes, mockups, sequence diagrams, feasibility assessments, and managing change control. Capable of tracking and reporting risks, issues, and inconsistencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to define evaluation and acceptance criteria for deliverables ('Definition of Done'), manage requirement scopes, trace completion, track key decisions, and secure stakeholder approval. Adept at resolving requirement discrepancies and facilitating alignment between business and technical teams.
- Hands-on experience in conducting comprehensive testing activities, including functional, non-functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Responsible for creating and executing test plans, procedures, manual/automated test cases, defect tracking, bug resolution, and validation of deliverables against requirements.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide, process-driven cloud platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, and Tableau.
- Skilled in collaborating with diverse stakeholders-including program managers, SMEs, process owners, and technical teams-under project manager guidance to facilitate JAD/JRP sessions and drive task ownership and accountability.
- Proficient in delivering business analysis and quality assurance support for legacy system modernization, data migration, and infrastructure upgrade projects involving cloud-based COTS products and custom development, including incident troubleshooting and system configuration.
- Background in digitizing manual workflows into electronic systems for case and incident management, including structured data collection, storage, sharing, and review/approval processes.
- Experienced in establishing standardized processes for requirements gathering, RFP/RFQ development, document version control, and implementing SOPs for managing project documentation and dynamic changes.
- Proficient with a wide range of business analysis and testing tools, including Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, Project, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Cognos, TFS, Selenium, and HP Quality Center (QC).
