We are looking for an extraordinary Associate Creative Director of Internal Communications to work as part of a creatively-led global team and ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all Apple internal medias and platforms. As an Associate Creative Director (ACD) of Internal Communications you will own the creative process and set the creative standard to deliver best-in-class, impactful stories that build culture across the company. The ideal candidate possesses an impeccable design aesthetic and attention to detail, broad experience in brand design, creative direction and in building photography and content narratives, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to foster positive collaboration with multi-disciplinary partners. Additionally, you should have a deep understanding of creative strategy, user experience concepts, digital platform capabilities, and systematic design rationale.

Description

As an ACD of Internal Communications, you will guide the teams through design concept development and collaborate closely with Editorial Leads, Designers, Producers, Photographers and Videographers to develop content strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Lead and collaborate with visual designers, writers, experience designer and agencies to conceptualize ideas and co-direct teams to produce quality work. - Guide emerging designers in crafting meaningful and inspiring content. - Design, review, and empower campaigns for Apple’s Internal Communications deliverables. - Present work to senior creative staff, Internal Communications Leadership, and Apple executives. - Integrate strategies and messaging across existing and new communication mediums. - Develop and find new talent, plan and staff for an ongoing calendar of projects, and manage outside agencies and vendors for overflow projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must provide a creative portfolio or work samples.
• 12+ years of overall experience, including 3 years of experience managing projects in a creative-focused digital agency or in-house at a leading brand.
• Strong written and spoken English skills for effective communication with international team members.

• A global perspective with an awareness of the latest digital trends and works from around the world.
• Expertly direct the development of well-conceived, innovative creative content work that implements the content strategy and brief.
• Participate in creative reviews to ensure content is on brief and the narrative is integrated across all marketing materials.
• Communicate effectively with editorial and creative partners, business affairs and other members of the team.
• Direct photo shoots to create compelling photography and/or video content for Internal communications deliverables and campaigns.
• Ability to drive workflows, creative shares and schedules across multiple teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to get results throughout projects
• Cut through ambiguity to find the right path forward despite uncertainty or challenges
• Approach projects with a global perspective to ensure creative resonates in international markets
• Extremely detail oriented with extraordinary follow-through skills
• Approach problems flexibly and with a willingness to adapt in order to arrive at the best solution
• Resourceful and proactive in finding solutions
• See around corners to ensure awareness of bigger problems and opportunities ahead

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,000 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
