As an Assistant Technician you will support daily operations by assisting with the maintenance, inspection, and repair of equipment used in food waste processing and energy conversion. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting basic mechanical or electrical issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental protocols. Ideal for individuals with hands-on technical skills and a strong interest in sustainability and clean technology.

Responsibilities:
• Executes on various tasks including the inspection, breakdown, cleaning, and stacking of organic material bins
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and escalates concerns to Lead Technician or Managers in real time
• Operation of hand pallet jacks
• Assists Lead Technician with basic PM tasks and other operational activities as assigned
• Participation in all shift handoff meetings, scheduled trainings, and other meeting as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential functions for this position and meet the physical requirements needed to perform them, including but not limited to frequently require the ability to drive a forklift, sit; hear or talk: use close vision; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects; and type and manipulate controls. While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate:
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Must be able to bend, stand, walk, sit, kneel frequently
• Is comfortable operating equipment and repetitive tasks throughout their shift
• Is able to handle potential changes in temperature on site, humidity and wetness in working areas
