Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team in the Data Center sector. Responsibilities

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will:

  • Support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the data center or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or equivalent.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • PMP or similar certification (preferred but not required).

Day-to-Day

Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include

  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of project schedules and timelines.
  • Coordinating team meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting action items.
  • Tracking project budgets and expenditures to ensure financial accountability.
  • Communicating project updates and progress to stakeholders and team members.
  • Identifying and resolving project-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Supporting the Project Manager in ensuring all project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Conducting site visits or inspections as needed to monitor project progress.
